AcroTex Dance – Round Rock

Tiny Toes (2.5-3 year olds): This Class allows toddlers to discover creative movement.  Dancers will learn rhythm and coordination through games and songs.  Ballet Shoes are required.

Twinkle Toes (3-4 year olds): This class teaches the foundation to ballet and tap.  Dancers will learn rhythm and coordination through games and songs.  Tap and Ballet shoes are required.

Tippy Toe I (4-6 year olds) and Tippy Toes II (5-7 year olds): This class is designed to enrich the dancers terminology, pose and technique.  Tap and Ballet shoes are required

Turning Toes (7-12 year olds): This Tap & Ballet combo class is for the dancer that wants to discover intermediate technique, pose & terminology.  Tap and Baller shoes are required.

Jazz : This is a fun class that requires a good knowledge of ballet terminology & style.  Dancers will learn rhythm & percussive movements to high energy music.  Jazz shoes required.

Hip Hop Jazz: A fun, high energy class working on jazz techniques and exercises and putting them with hip hop moves to form a routine.

Acrotex Pom Squad: This is a performance based group under the direction of Mary Katherine Kinney.  The squad will showcase the dancer’s talents at various events & venues throughout the year.  It will give dancers a goal to inspire them to be their best!  Jazz shoes and costume pieces will be required.

Learn what it takes to be a triple threat! This Musical Theater class is a fun way to learn the tricks of the trade and develop strong stage presence. Taught by Mary Katherine Kinney, the course will focus on the dancing, acting, and vocal techniques and styles used in Broadway musicals. Mary Katherine has studied musical theater style performance under Broadway veterans, including Danny Herman, Rocker Verastique, and Broadway star, Billy Porter. She has taught voice for Artistic Education Company’s Let’s Sing Jazz to Opera voice program, as well as choreographed and assisted in the direction of Once Upon a Mattress.
